Climate change is something that you hear about almost everywhere you go.  Most people understand the general concept of what climate change is but many do not know what the long term consequences are. Global warming is causing the planets temperature to rise steadily.  As the temperature rises, the ice on the earth begins to melt and this in turn raises the sea level.  This can cause devastating things in the future and it is up to us to help slow this process. There is not a way to stop this entirely, but there are many ways consumers can help make this process happen slower than what is currently is now.  We are wasting so many resources that we are constantly polluting our environment.  Something as simple as changing to energy saving light bulbs in the home can help combat this major problem. If you are going somewhere and can walk or carpool instead of driving your car, this is another great way to contribute to the solution.  Hybrid cars are gaining popularity and interest by many consumers. There are many models on the market now and more choices than ever for all tastes and budgets. If we do nothing global warming will affect us sooner than we think.  Some cities that are currently below sea level may be overwhelmingly flooded causing many national tragedies around the world.  Although we can never completely stop climate change, it is up to us to give the next generation the tools needed to slow down the process.

Buneng and The Taximan’s Story

Buneng and The Taximan’s Story are only some of the best short stories of the world that every reader must have to witness. Both stories portray the true meaning of life and on how we will be going to spend the rest of it.

The two stories talk about how the two fathers from different scenarios were able to influence the decisions of their children. Furthermore, the stories also explained the two ways on how to discipline your child despite of some conflicts that might arouse.

On the other hand, the two fathers aimed to give a bright future for their siblings, because parents knows best – they really know what is good from what is bad for the betterment of the family.

Another similarity, the stories also showed how much teenagers nowadays were able to adopt the ambiance of the modern world. It was a great proof that children became so weak, spoiled, and self-centered.

There are also scenes in the stories wherein it depicts the importance of trust. It shows how much people tried to take it for granted and how this trust was so difficult to regain.

We don’t even try to understand our parents because we all know, everything that we do are right. Sometimes we don’t even think how much every moment was too precious. Decision dominates all the things that we do and that were the main point of the two stories. Both of those stories, aimed to touch the hearts of some children, not just only children but also to all people how much advises and restrictions were so very important.

Buneng and The Taximan’s Story

If there are things that are similar, there are also some points that things tends to be different. One of the differences in the two stories is that, Buneng was written by an Ilocano writer while The Taximan’s Story was written by a Singaporean writer. Andres was the one narrating the story whereas on the other one, it was the taximan.

The two stories focused on the different on how a parent disciplined his sibling. Andres’ father has done indirect value to his son which Andres were not able to feel that treatment. On the other scenario, the taximan let her daughter do what she wants because he believes that his daughter will do well if he will going to let her free.

Andres’ father set some restrictions to his son so that for the future he will learn more about life, that life was so very difficult. Whereas the taximan have given her daughter a chance to explore the world, because he believe that for the future she will going to use it.

The taximan’s daughter did everything she wants; until such time that she couldn’t even see her limitations. In contrast, Andres obeyed his father; he did everything so that he will not be disappointed. 

Another difference, Andres’ father gave affection yet the test was tough while the taximan have given direct asperity, yet his daughter has learned something.

“The Road Not Taken”

“Sometimes the wrong choices will bring us to the right place” – a very nice quote from a very inspirational author. In some cases it would be true but not at all times. We always keep on putting into our minds that when see things right it seems like it will direct us to a better future.

We have reached some points in our life that we need to choose from any of the choices. It would be so difficult for us to make some further decisions; it’s because of some factors. We feel so bad because we think our decisions might not be so good enough at the end. That’s how rational a certain person is.

In the poem the “The Road Not Taken,” many people would see it as a good example of an inspirational piece that all of us can relate. The only thing I want to say about this poem is that, it was just like I’m the person who is talking in the poem.

I have been through to different kinds of challenges in my life that I couldn’t even realize how much I would able to pass through those narrow yet so wide streets all throughout my journey. We want to be like someone else for the future, we want to succeed in life, setting ambitions, putting things together so that we may not regret when time comes. That’s how we see ourselves.

We can do two things at the same but we cannot simultaneously pass through two roads at the same time. Hypothetically, we cannot go through two priorities at the same time, you need to choose based on your strength.

Sometimes we feel that both of those priorities were actually similar. We tend to think that if we could even do it together, but it might be so impossible.  There comes a time that you really need to choose, and you have chosen the one where there’s no other person who have ever tried it because we want to be extraordinary.

During the journey, we tend to regret from our decisions, we feel so weak and broken and thought of choosing the other track. But until such time, we get used to it, that we love what we do from the chosen priority. God has a plan for us, because he was there when we have chosen it.

I'm walking through the bridge in a one cold night. I didn't mind how the wind blows quickly. I mind the birds rushing to their nest. I'm wondering the past how did he brought me here. To those things that I wouldn't expect to come in an instant.

"New Year, a New Life", It was a very old quote. Yes, sometimes its true, but it was too old to hear that.

"Days come by, every year would take, life goes short so don't waste any part of it," It was short and so meaningful.it depicts something that any of us would understand.

Christmas: Love,...Faith

This month, I heard three different people talk about December, they all said the same thing:, oh my “its December, an expensive month”. This caught my attention, why is it that people are talking about an expensive month instead of being happy that it is almost Christmas. We give each other presents but do we really know the essence of Christmas?. Jesus himself said, “love thy neighbor as thyself”.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. A time for us to understand the lessons from Jesus & reflect on them. Jesus brought a new religion based on love & the vision of a God who is full of compassion & forgiveness; a vision of doing everything with a positive mindset & from a place of love.

In today’s day and time, it is easy to lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas. Enjoy the delicious meals, sweet drinks, lovely songs & dances, beautiful friends & family members we would come across this season, let’s try not to forget about the child, born on a winter night so cold, whose bed was made only of hay & animal food; our lord Jesus Christ, who taught us all what real, genuine & unconditional love is. As we celebrate the birth of our savior, let’s be human & kind enough to remember & show some love to those motherless babies, helpless orphans, hospital patients, prisoners, beggars & all those who are not fortunate enough to be actively involved in the celebration of the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Men and women are made because of a mission. A mission to live and be happy to the fullest. When those men abuse women? Yes, there are a lot of circumstances. We can't enumerate all of them.

As we goes by to our lives, it makes get even better, but as we go on, we can encounter some issues that affects the right of every woman to their man. We can see some news that man really abuse woman and that is so disgusting. 

In the past decades ago, we can see that man or boys are so powerful. They serve as the leaders from the very old times. They are said to be emperors, king, prince, sheikh, and a lot more. their power can hold every one's life. They have slaves which women are counted for. they are used for happiness, comfort, and any other unwanted things.

Reflection (Second Quarter)

Another challenge, another life.

As I look back over the past few months of my senior year, I have to say that I am pleased and impressed with myself! After the First Quarter, here comes the very challenging Second Quarter. Unto the lessons that I have touched during this quarter in my ICT subject, I know that I gain something different.

I learn more about Web. I learn more how to make things that I haven't done from the rest of my life-that is all about HTML. In this quarter I learned how to make some HTML files. From the most basic, we learned more about different tags that is used to make an HTML file. After some practices made, we constantly make HTML files using tags. It was so fun, you know the feeling that you made something so interesting, that   it made you feel happy.

In line with the projects that we made in this subject, we also encounter some problems that really challenged us to be more strong. Our project is like an Exploration Research in a particular topic regarding Vigan City.
in this project we found out that Vigan city was so rich with Ancestral Arts that many people don't know yet. Our topic category is all about ARTS AND CULTURE in Vigan City regarding those Fine Arts and design that was made in this place. Even though it was so tough, we consider it with my group mates that as a very interesting one.

I must study more so that I could be able to pass with this incredible challenge-my High School life. And I will say to myself that I can do this.

English: How important it is??

What is this English Proficiency all about? What is this Communicative Competence all about? Upholding English Proficiency through Communicative Competence. I will share to you some important manner regarding this matter.

In the earlier times, Filipinos from the Spanish colonization practiced on how they can use English (American Language) proficiently. When the Americans set our Freedom from the Spanish, they formulated a very good solution to this problem.

Until at the present, we are still continuing ourselves to be familiarize to use this English language in order for us not to be so ignorant in using this.

If we are proficient in this language, it will be easier for us to communicate with other people all over the world because this language is known as the “universal language”. Not only that, if you are proficient in speaking English, you are also good in grammar, in writing some articles and stories you want to write. You can also express yourself easily; you can express your emotions to other people. And also you can easily make some conversations to other people because they can also speak with this language. In some conversations, the information content may seem very slight because the speaker's main purpose is to convey a message such as ‘I want to be sociable with you’.

Communicative competence lets us know when to speak and when not to speak, how to take turns in conversations and how to start and end them, and how to involve and exclude people. We also know how to listen. This is what communicative competence all about. We should practice these things, so that it will be able for us to make sure that we are confident in using our communicative skills easily.

Save Earth from the needle of Death

Our planet is considered as one of the most unique planets all over the universe. We are blessed that we have given the chance to live in this place where we can say as one of the best gifts of God on us. Let's not blame anybody else if God will withdraw all this things that he have shared with us. We cannot dictate God if when will he collect the things that he own.This was very big challenge on us. What will you do change this things to happen in the future?

Our world is now lacking from it's natural and energetic resources. This was because of the unpracticed people who are abusing the mother nature. Being a person, what will you do to ensure that the earth will live longer as it is? What will you do to keep the earth for the next generation? 

One very simple way to save energy is to turn electronic items off when they are not in use. This includes turning lights off when leaving a room. For occasions when less light is needed, consider getting lamps with light dimmers or installing dimmers in built-in light fixtures. As computers and computer accessories become increasingly common, these devices have also become a greater source of energy consumption and waste. Remember to turn computers and other devices off when they are not in use. INSTRUMENTS TO SUCCESS

Many people say that a teaching is the noblest profession. Why I say it so? there are no lawyers, engineers, doctors, nurses accountants if there are no teachers. It was just like a world with no use. This world is so meaningless.........

How a teacher face his own personal life not only his /her very important work which is teaching? We all know that a teachers teach their children to be able to write, to count, to read, to understand things which are very complicated in their own view, they teaches how to analyze things and to criticize some of them, they also teaches how to engulf some difficult problems, and telling to their children that life is full of happiness and challenges, they also give some activities and projects to their students to be able to enhance their creativity and self confident, they also explain some difficult information that the student wants to know, they also give some homework’s to their students to practice and to get ready to the continuation of their lesson, they are also willing to give a remedial class if possible when their students experience difficulty in understanding to their lessons . In their everyday life they always think of the topics and lessons that will be able to teach for the day. They made these topics easier to understand to be able for this student to absorb every part of it.

Teaching is not only their work on school they also make students be good abiding citizens of our very own nation. They also make sure that in every time they go to school; they make sure that their students should think positive and to face their unfinished works leisurely.

When they go home, they still continue their wok in their home. They continue checking some passed activities and projects and recording them to their class records. In their home they also compute some of the grades of their students.

Teachers also continue to learn more of the things that they don’t know.

Without her, My life would be IMPOSSIBLE!

In our everyday lives, we consider every part of it as a very important thing that was given to us by God as a big mission  that we will accomplish.

More than about fifteen years of existence, months, weeks, days, hours, and minutes in felt that every time I move, I breath, there's someone here in the world that really makes a big role to every someones life. Without this people maybe you will not have to succeed in life, or maybe without them you will not have to live here in this world. maybe this person makes your life very interesting because of his or her wonderful treats.

Without them, we cannot say that this world won't be so complete. As we saw them day by day, we can say that they are the people which makes me so happy.

The one that I am talking about is my mother. Yes, maybe you love your mother. I know that. Why i say it so? It was not just all loving mother but because you feel the essence that your mother is there for you to help you in times challenges, gives you some suitable advises which can make you feel better to those problems you really know that you cannot do them. They also make you feel better, when you came to a world of sadness. They can say to you, "it's just OK anak".

If  I will compare my mother to one of my organs, I would compare her to my heart. Why i say it so? We all know that heart is one of the most important organs in our body. If this heart will disappear, your life will stop working and your life will loose one of it's function, or simply to die. That is what important my mother is. If my mother will disappear my life would be impossible. I consider her as one of the best gift of God from me.I love my mother so much.

We have big missions and big challenges in life, and with this things, we cannot do them without those people     that we consider as one of the people that can help us to this challenges.

FILIPINO LANGUAGE: A Pride to Any other Filipinos

"Small size is no barrier to personal effectiveness", this was the passage of some of the Filipinos that was living all over the world. What does this statement mean? Our country is just a dot on the map compared to other countries. But why some Filipinos are still fighting to the battle to any other lands. Filipinos are so brave to face the difficult challenge against to other nations because all the Filipinos know that they will not be lose to any other aspects.

This shows that Filipinos are full of strength to say to other people, "I can do this". 

Being a person in this world has a very distinct language or a dialect that is using that will make every individual understand each other.

Tagalog or Filipino is the language here in the Philippines. It was the most spoken language of the Filipino culture. While the Filipino language has existed for several years the country adopted the more common name with the acceptance of the actual language among other Filipino individuals. According to statistics Filipino language was spoken as a first language by over 24 million individuals and as a second language by more than 65 million.

According to the Section 3, Article XIV of the Saligambatas ng Pilipinas that the Congress will make a method to strengthen a language that was based on the cultural language that is used more often . Until it was not yet proven by law, English and Spanish is still the official language.

We should use our own language to strengthen our own nationality.

Reflection (First Quarter)

Mixed happiness, excitement, and in another way around emotions. I didn't expect that I would be able to go to this place. This is another challenge for me  to be more prepared for a better future.

As an overview of what i have learned in the past months of this quarter, I would be able for you to share the things that I have learned. The topmost topic that we have discussed is about the brief history of the Internet. Next was the few famous Internet Architects, the Philippine Pioneers, and the Software Architects.
The Internet Architects like Vinton "Vint Cerf or famously Known as the Father of Modern Internet; Robert Khan or known as the co-invemntor of the TCP/IP; John Postel or known as the Administrator of IANA. The Philippine Pioneers like dr. William Torres or famously known as the Father Philippine Internet; Rodolfo Villarica the Fopunding President of the PHNet Inc.; Joel Disini or known as the President of the E-Mail Company. The Software Pioneers like Eric Bina or known as the co-founder of NCC; Marc Andreesen or famously known as the co-creator of Mosaic; and Timothy Tim Berners-Lee or known because of the development of the Internet by using www., http.,and the HTML. And we also learned more about Blogs.

I have few problems that  I have encountered this Quarter on this ICT subject. I have some difficulty of composing my articles in my post on the blog. At this First Quarter of being a Fourth Year student even I encountered some untoward problems. I face them so bravely because I know that no can help me of my paper and critical works. Even I was so busy to some other subjects, I still make sure that I will also take good care of my ICT (Information and Communication Technology) subject. I have a lot assignments, projects, activities, outputs and others. We also have a lot of activities in ICT like blog.

I address's this challenges by pushing myself to cope up to what I have missed and I am making sure that this missed activities are absolutely good.

Moving on, I will bear in mind that this challenges will serve as my guide to be more prepared for the future. And I will not miss any breath, sweat, sacrfice, effort, strength pain, sufferings, challenges and solutions, to become a perfect-ME.

The Third State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Benigno Simeon Cojuanco Aquino III

Consider that the land of the Philippines is only a child that couldn't stand by himself because this boy is lack of strength. Philippines can't be on one's feet.This land wouldn't live without any other countries.

Why I say this so? I tried to think. I tried to analyze but at the end I concluded that we are just only followers. We can't do by our own. We are just like depending to the said "deal" of our government to a government of the other. Like we are just waiting. For what?

They say that the government is trying to do well but no one reacts. Just like everyone is contented listening but don't want to move, when this administration finish it's term, if the country will still be poor and it isn't government does not perform but because laziness and idioness still prevails.

Does the Filipinos are satisfied with the SONA of P-noy. If yes, why should the other people decided to have a rally that day, and the worst thing is the people and the police are having trouble. Majority some people says that the people are not  happy of what P-noy have reported to the Filipinos about the progress of the Philippines. This is a worst face that the coutry is facing for.

He who believes the numbers cited by P-noy. Nobody would believe on the Cash Transfer Scheme. The million poor donors are fabricated. That "Cash Transfer" is the quickest way to cheat the Filipino people of their tax payers money. Besides, it is next to impossible to audit and monitor. You have no choice but to accept the expected money that he have given.

K+12 Program of the Government

Regarding the introduction of the 12th grade in education, we are merely bringing our level at par to what other countries are doing, if you read the curriculum of the 11th& 12th grade, it is actually like the primary college level / vocational schooling. So once a student finish grade school, his/her skill set can be considered having taken a vocational school in the past's education levels. The more employers can have a working pool with acceptable skills, thus can be hired. I cannot say that it was successful or not, because I haven't yet seen my highest expectation of that program.

Again, many people are arguing P-noy has committed TREASON OR GUILTY. They say why did he ordered pulling out our Navy in the Scarborough Shoal stand off? He even declared fish ban to the Filipino Fishermen. Again, he is spreading disinformation to what is really is happening regarding the territorial violations of China. But for me it's not the giving out the real event but he is giving privacy to the said issue.

They say he did not abide by his Official mandate to protect our Constitution and protect our territorial Sovereignty.

The President of the P-noy was using his common sense by giving warning to country neighbours about China's aggressiveness on territorial claims. He said China's claims are getting closer and closer to the shore so neighboring countries must be vigilant on their islands too especially those islands that are located around the South China Sea.

Philippines, with the help of the United States as ally of the country would surely join hand in hand in protecting the their territories but of course WAR is not a thing that people would be proud of. 

As for the pulling out of Scarborough shoal, is the government what would do in such an intense standoff? Knowing that they have any chance of gaining anything from an armed conflict? I bet P-noy has weighed the issues of such situation before doing what he had commanded.Your statements has given a clear gauge on your capacity in evaluating critical situations and it is of a level that needs more seasons and personal experience. Nice effort!

This was a good job Mr. President. This was good start for a progressive country. I would not expect for anything but you can prove it to us that this will be the beginning of another day of our mother-Philippines.

Dear Mr. President,

Before I would enter or to say the main point or my purpose of this endeavor, I would like to extend my greatest gratitude to you Mr. President, because you have given me the chance to share and to say what’s on my mind , opinions regarding to some problems that you have established in this more than a year of service and administration that you have done.

There are a lot of questions  that our people are asking for on why the country is now facing through. Just like what you have said on your speeches about the crying Philippines, "the whole was made to ride in a paper boat eventually to drown in a sea of lies and anomalies". In my opinion you have stated that kind of hyperbole on the country's economy because it was so hard to lift up the economic growth of once nation in terms of different problems involving such cases that the former administration of the former President and now Pampanga Cogresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Why did I indicated the former administration? The last administration did not exist the real face of being a progressive country. I did not say that they have gone the process graft and corruption because I have no enough evidence. But this observation let every individual share ideas that maybe some of these political officials may have or may not have some unreasonable prohibited actions as they circulate in the vessels of the government. 

Second one is poverty, I know Mr. President that you are giving your best to give some remedies regarding this matter. Many Filipinos mostly to some interior places here in the Philippines undergo to the problem, mostly in Mindanao area. Not only in the problem of poverty but also malnutrition, scarcity of individual needs, lack of programs for the people,  be deficient in the educational necessities and the most important the discipline.

I would like to emphasize these things in the past years that you Mr. President should give importance.

Population.The extent of our population lead to many aspects if we are bigger and will be bigger in size.
The amount of population will lead to insufficient supply of labor and services. I think you would come to a better solution for this kind of problem.

Government facilities and promotes the settlement and cultivation of public and agricultural lands. This is a famous and a very abundant job here in the Philippines and many of us are depending a lot on this field of industry, agriculture.Can you imagine a country without the agricultural industry? It would be impossible.

Systems and problems of agriculture have their effects on the economic development of the Philippines. About a 2 years ago where the whole country experience the insufficient supply of rice . But now I think this problem was replenished because the supply goes up.

We all know that manufacturing is a big solution that can lift up the economic  development of the Philippines because if we ca manufacture a lot of products that was made up here in the country and it will be exported to the International Market there will be a possibility that the country will reach its extent Gross National Product.

Transportation and Communication also build up a better and enable country because without this two the economy of one country will decelerate, it is better to appreciate our modern technology.

Let us face the world and at the we will all escape to this very big problem of the Philippines.
